Sunnyvale - California Ave
  • First, visit the Front Desk security team to sign a waiver and get badge access to use the fitness center for personal workouts.
  • Next, create your Whole Health & Fitness account to book classes online and in the new mobile app (coming soon).
Sunnyvale - Crossman
  • Separate badge access is not needed to enter the gym and fitness areas in the Respect building, but associates must sign up for a Whole Health & Fitness account prior to using the gymnasium, fitness equipment or participating in classes. 
Steps to Sign up for Whole Health & Fitness Account:
  1. Click the Sign Up button to create your Whole Health & Fitness account in the online portal.    
  2. Enter your preferred first name, last name and work email address associated with your Walmart account. If you do not have a “preferred” first name listed in Workday, use your legal first name.
  3. Look for a verification email in your Walmart inbox containing an access code. Enter the access code into the enrollment page. 
  4. Enter your contact information, emergency contact details, and create a password.
  5. Read and accept the liability waiver and agreement terms. 
  6. Review your information and click Confirm and Purchase. 
  7. Click Continue to take you to your portal home page.

Sunnyvale - California Ave

Cardio and weight equipment is available for self-training or associates can join a group fitness class including yoga and HIIT.

  • Associate Access: 5 am – 10 pm daily
  • Contractor Access: 6 am – 7 pm Monday-Friday only
Personal Training

Personal training is available for a fee. Login to your Whole Health & Fitness account to view and purchase packages. Email wholehealthwest@walmart.com with questions. 

Weekly Fitness Classes

Login to your Whole Health & Fitness account to reserve your spot. All classes are max of 8 participants and held in the fitness center in building 680. 

*The fitness center is closed for individual workouts during group class sessions. Classes are open to associates only.

HIIT Fusion

This class will leave you feeling energized, accomplished, and ready to tackle anything that comes your way. Designed to push your limits with a combo of intense bursts of exercise followed by short periods of transition and rest, this class allows you to maximize calorie burn and build muscular endurance.

Power yoga, which is also known as Vinyasa yoga, is a faster-paced style of yoga that focuses on building strength & endurance. Join this abbreviated version that will have you feeling ready to take on the rest of your day!

Sunnyvale - Crossman

The Sunnyvale Campus has lots of options to support you on your Whole Health journey:

  •  A variety of cardio equipment available such as treadmills, arc trainers, Stairmasters, ellipticals, arm ergometer, and bikes
  • Strength training equipment includes free weights, resistance machines, cable machines, plate-loaded strength training machines, and squat racks
  • 3 studios offering a wide range of group fitness classes such as Pilates, reformer, yoga, dance, boxing, and cycling
  • Whole Health experiences including sound bath, Taking Charge, breathwork, and meditation
  • Rest & Recharge room for assisted stretching and compression treatments
  • Outdoor recreation with a putting green, bocce court, and sand volleyball
  • Indoor multipurpose gymnasium for sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, pickleball (available early 2026)

Whole Health & Fitness - West: Mobile App Coming Soon!

Once you sign up in the online portal, you can download the Whole Health & Fitness- West app from your Google Play or Apple app store. Use the app to view group fitness class times and reserve your spot. 


 Tips for the App: 

  • Please note that you must sign up for your online Whole Health & Fitness account before trying to access the app. 
  • Username for the app is typically first initial of the first name, followed by the full last name (no spaces).  Example:  John Smith (jsmith). 
  • Password is the same for your online portal.  If you are having difficulties, please contact wholehealthwest@walmart.com. We are here to help!

  • Bring a clean towel and wipe down mats and equipment after each use. 
  • We've equipped our shower rooms with essential toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel. 
  • Hairdryers, hand towels, and scales are also provided.

Towels

We provide hand towels in locker rooms and fitness center. Please use the soiled towel hampers provided and do not remove hand towels from the premises. If you're using the showers, remember to bring your own towel.

Lockers

Lockers are for daily use only. Please do not store items overnight. Ensure all personal belongings are secured in a locker, as Walmart is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Check with security for any lost items.

Unclaimed Items

Any items left unsecured will be removed by the facilities team on Friday at 4 PM and placed in lost and found for 30 days. Unclaimed items will be donated after this period.

  • Classes are held in the 680 building at California Ave.
  • Sign up for your Whole Health & Fitness account and get access to book classes 7 days in advance to guarantee a spot! Drop-ins are welcome if space allows. 
  • For yoga classes, some participants may want to bring their own mat and that is encouraged, but equipment will be provided for all classes. Just bring yourself and some water.
  • Classes are appropriate for any fitness level. We encourage both new and experienced exercisers to join us! Instructors are equipped and ready to accommodate needs.
  • All participants are required to sign a waiver (one-time), prior to attending classes. If you've signed up for your Whole Health & Fitness account in the online portal, you're all set. If you haven't signed up for your account yet, see the instructor to sign a waiver.

Access

All associates must sign up for access to Whole Health & Fitness through the new online portal prior to using the fitness areas or participating in classes. 

Contractors must see a Whole Health & Fitness staff member to sign up for access during staffed hours.

  • Whole Health & Fitness staff are on-site and available to assist associates Monday – Thursday 7 am – 6 pm and Friday 7 am – 3 pm.
  • Associates can access Whole Health & Fitness Monday – Friday 6 am – 8 pm. Weekend access is not currently available.
  • Contractors can access only during staffed hours: Monday – Thursday 7 am – 6 pm and Friday 7 am – 3 pm.
