General Camp Information

Campers will enjoy activities of all kinds! Free swim, sports clinics, demo classes, and Whole Health experiences are the highlights of the summer.

Campers should always pack a healthy lunch, a refillable water bottle, sneakers, and a sweatshirt for the chilly spaces. On swim days, please pack a change of clothes, a towel, and goggles for your camper.

Please do not send any electronics to camp. We ask that toys are left at home. Campers may bring a book or magazine for quiet time.

Campers do not leave campus. We will be leaving the building to explore the campus trails. We do have offsite vendors who bring a variety of experiences to camp!

Please email Sabina.Wetterling@walmart.com, to be placed on the summer camp mailing list. If you are already on the list, you will be receiving information at regular intervals concerning registration information, camp activities, and camp schedules.

Our counselors must pass a rigorous background check before onboarding. All counselors are CPR and First Aid certified. We select our counselors based on their experience, qualifications, and compassion! Counselors are required to complete 16 hours of state training. Counselors will also receive risk management, child abuse recognition, and behavioral management trainings.

Camp is equipped to handle minor injuries and illnesses. Beyond that, please email sabina.wetterling@walmart.com and karyn.walker@walmart.com to determine eligibility for your camper. Campers who require an epi-pen or rescue inhaler will have a care plan in place.

Groups are determined by age and ratio. The licensing ratio for camp is 1 counselor per 18 children. However, each group will have at least 2 counselors. Campers are sorted into groups by age and grade.

You may request a groupmate for your camper by emailing sabina.wetterling@walmart.com. We will try our best to accommodate groupmate requests but are unable to guarantee requests.
